  • Sustainable Science:
    • Manage and plan engineering services for ecological restoration and creation projects from preliminary to final plans and specifications
    • Execute natural resource field data collection, reduction and analyses
    • Perform field topographic surveys and preparation of topographic sheets
    • Executes water budget analyses using both standard and innovative engineering methodologies

  • While at Environmental Concern:
    • Managed the wetland consulting and construction departments including proposal generation, field activities and design execution
    • Taught professional courses on wetland delineation, hydrology, functional assessment, hydric soils and wetland treatment systems
    • Published several articles on wetland hydrology and construction techniques
    • Conceptualized and executed vegetational inventory using hyperspectral imagery
    • Managed the wetland and natural resource components of the NYCDEP Staten Island, NY project

  • While with Lanai Company:
    • Managed electrical, sanitary and potable water utilities for the Island of Lanai, Hawaii
    • Conceptualized and oversaw installation of well and reservoir telemetry system
    • Supervised the startup of tertiary treatment facility using water hyacinth to replace potable water golf course irrigation source
    • Performed archival record search and orchestrated field logistics for the TDM ground water survey for the Island of Lanai

  • While with Herbst & Associates:
    • Executed geotechnical engineering studies from proposal to final design
    • Managed and performed over 200 wetland delineation and permitting projects beginning in 1984
